Originally from the West Bank, Diana Alzamareh is now studying Biomedical Engineering at Binghamton University, New York

Diana Alzamareh was born in Ukraine to a Palestinian father and Ukrainian mother and moved to Bethany, Palestine, at the age of four. A dedicated student, she graduated from the Orthodox School of Bethany and received a scholarship to pursue an associate degree at Joliet Junior College in Illinois. She stood out at Joliet, maintaining a 4.0 GPA and joining the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa Honours Society. At Binghamton Diana likes to volunteer and to meet new students. She has been an international student ambassador and assisted the Binghamton University International Student office with welcoming new students. She has been in their shoes and thus likes to meet them and help them adjust to and feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.

Diana is particularly interested in Tissue Engineering and Biomedical Instrumentation. Diana is considering continuing her studies in Graduate School in one of these two bioengineering subfields; however, prior to starting her graduate studies, she wants to work and gain some experience.
