Accepted into Vassar College, Mohamad will be graduating in May 2021 with a BA in computer science. In his spare time, Mohamad is very engaged in extracurricular activities, many of which link back to the Middle East; Mohamad is the co-president of the Middle-Eastern North African association, was involved in the refugee support programme, and was hired at the beginning of the Fall 2018 semester as a research assistant for a professor in the Arabic program. He is also the chair of outreach at the VC++ Computer Science Club where he’s responsible for reaching out to students, contacting alumni, and organizing talks and events.

 

With diverse interests in astrophysics, physics, philosophy, computer science, politics, history, and economics, Vassar College is perfect in its broad and outstanding curriculum. Mohamad, driven by passion to create and innovate, intends to become a software engineer. He’s always on the look for exciting opportunities to apply what he’s learned and improve his skills, whether in the US, UK, or Lebanon.
