Bseisu-University of Haifa Scholarship

  • The University of Haifa was ranked highest amongst Israeli universities by the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, a global university ranking which measures the success of academic institutions in delivering the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

    The University of Haifa is Israel’s most diverse university, with more than 40% of its students being Arab-Israeli / Palestinian. The Bseisu-Haifa Scholarships for Neurobiology will provide support for the cost of tuition fees and a stipend for the cost of living. The two new first-year Bseisu-Haifa Scholars will be mentored by the current two second-year Bseisu-Haifa Scholars, providing invaluable help in settling in, wayfinding around campus and offering advice and support during your first year. The Bseisu-Haifa Scholarship is championed by Mouna Maroun, Professor of Neurobiology and the University’s Vice President and Dean of Research and Development, and one of Israel’s leading Arab scientists.

  • This scholarship is open to two students per year.

    Eligible students will be:

    • Palestinian Citizens of Israel.

    • Pursuing MSc degrees in Neurobiology.

    Students will NOT be eligible if they:

    • Are studying part-time, or are studying an Undergraduate or PhD course.

    • Not studying Neurobiology.
